Meerkats (entering grades 3-5)

Meerkats, our rising third- through fifth-graders, swim three days per week at Windybush Swim Club and take five field trips over the course of the summer, including visits to The Franklin Institute, a Blue Rocks Game and more! The overall theme for this summer will be “Time Tunnel - History of the World in 11 Weeks.” Active games, water play, all-camp parties and visiting programs round out the summer experience.

Highly-trained & Experienced Staff
The Meerkats are led by longtime Wilmington Montessori School teacher Gerry McVey and participate in STEAM activities in our Maker Studios throughout the summer. Additionally, WMS's year-round art teacher Laurie Muhlbauer explores a wide range of art projects with work with campers each week.

Three afternoons per week, campers choose from a new slate of counselor-led elective activities including archery, basketball, photography, LEGO projects, writing and more.
