Kangaroos (entering kindergarten)

Session Capacity Notice:

As of 3/8/24, Kangaroos camp weeks 1, 2, 6, 7 & 8 are filled to capacity. Please contact camp@wmsde.org for waiting list information.

At Camp Montessori, the Kangaroos are the youngest group in the elementary camp community. 

Every week’s plan includes music, arts and crafts, team-building, active games, science and exploring the Wilmington Montessori woods. 
 

Highlights

Highly Trained & Experienced Staff
Kangaroos are led by longtime Camp Montessori counselors. They participate in STEAM activities in our Maker Studios throughout the summer. 

Swimming
Kangaroos, Tigers, Meerkats and Dragons will walk through our woods to Windybush Swim Club for swim time two days per week. 

Field Trips
Kangaroos will attend local off-site field trips on alternating weeks throughout the summer. Special guests will round out the summer with additional in-house field trip experiences.
