It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the loss of a cherished member of our WMS family – Diane Rineer. As a lead teacher in the Primary Program, Diane had begun her second year with us this fall, and her presence has left an indelible mark on the WMS community.

Diane's infectious smile, contagious laughter and boundless kindness touched everyone she crossed paths with at WMS. Her love of teaching was apparent as she nurtured her class (including not only her students, but also her beloved pet bunnies, Coco and Channel). She often expressed her gratitude for being a part of the WMS community, and that joy radiated to everyone she encountered.

 

We are better for having had Diane in our lives, and her memory will forever be alive in the hearts of the children she taught, both at WMS and her previous schools.

 

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Diane's students, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
