Inclement Weather Closing Information

On many snowy days, school remains in session. However, it is occasionally necessary for safety reasons to schedule a late opening or to close for the day. Childcare is open from 7:00am - 6:00pm when classes close, except when there is a state-wide or area closing due to extremely treacherous roads.

The State of Delaware maintains an excellent e-mail notification system for school closings and delays for all the schools in the state. We utilize this system as our first and primary notification. To subscribe, go to Dept of Education - School Closing Information.
