Wilmington Montessori School (WMS) is committed to enrolling students from diverse backgrounds representing the global community.
The WMS Board of Trustees allocates and supports a financial aid program that assists families with demonstrated financial need in considering WMS as an option for their children’s education. Overseen by the Financial Aid Committee, WMS granted more than $480,000 to students in 2011-12.
Financial Aid Applications for the 2012-13 school year are now available - Complete applications must be submitted to WMS by January 11, 2012 in order to be considered in the first round of funding.
The Financial Aid Committee evaluates each family’s overall circumstance and considers the following:
-
Each family’s overall financial circumstances, including adjusted gross income, assets, indebtedness, and discretionary expenses
-
Demonstrated financial need
-
The School's enrollment goals
-
Ability to make commitments to families, not simply to individual students
