All positions at WMS require an interview, a fingerprint background check (appropriate for licensed day care centers, not school-age only) with the Delaware State Police and a physical exam/health clearance form from your doctor which includes a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test within the past 12 months. Part-Time (25 hours/week)

Part-Time Assistant Teacher and On-Call Substitutes

Wilmington Montessori School has immediate openings for part-time assistant teachers and on-call substitutes. Candidates interested in part-time positions must be available to work Monday through Friday from the hours of 3 to 6 p.m.
On-call substitutes days and hours will vary as they are used to cover for a regular staff person when they are out. Sometimes these days will be planned in advance, and some will be offered on the day of the absence. We run programs Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Applicants may state specific days and hours of availability, and need not be available every day.

Early Childhood and Elementary Teachers

Potential Openings for the 2016-17 School Year
Wilmington Montessori School is accepting applications for potential openings for Lead Early Childhood and Elementary Teachers. Potential candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, and Montessori Certification or the willingness to obtain Montessori training.
