Alumni Pizza Party 2009
On January 9, WMS alumni, current sixth graders, and their parents enjoyed a pizza dinner and caught up with old friends at the annual Alumni Pizza Party. The topic for the evening was “Favorite Memories of WMS.” Students noted that they now appreciate their ability to plan for long-term projects and miss choosing a comfortable spot and position for doing lessons.
Surprisingly, students also mentioned ERB testing week, as our supportive approach to standardized testing, including special activities and snacks during breaks, allowed students to relax and focus on doing their best.
Honors for “The Most Senior WMS Graduate at the Party” went to Brandi Gott, currently a senior at Brandywine HS. Brandi plans to attend Lincoln University next fall to pursue a career in nursing. We wish Brandi, and all our alumni, much success!
